As Supply & Demand Planner at Slip Robotics, you own the connective tissue between Revenue and Operations. You'll maintain the master production schedule, translate the sales pipeline into material and capacity commitments, and manage stocking strategy across both active and sunset fleets — so Sales can promise dates they can keep and deployments never wait on parts.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the SlipLift master production schedule and equipment availability outlook, published to Sales as committable dates.
- Operate the SIOP process: translate pipeline probability into build authorizations and capacity checks on a standing cadence.
- Plan material coverage for all committed and probable deployments so equipment readiness leads demand.
- Own the unified inventory plan across production, HQ, and field stocking locations: min/max levels, safety stock policy, reorder triggers, and what is stocked versus sourced on demand — calibrated to fleet size, failure rates, and customer SLA exposure, with field execution carried out by the Service Delivery logistics team.
- Own lifetime-buy and service-parts strategy for the legacy fleet, sized against reliability data and remaining contract life. Manage total inventory value within the company exposure cap and own the reporting that keeps it visible.
- Partner with purchasing and sourcing on execution and with Finance on inventory classification and reserves.
Requirements
- 4–7 years in supply/demand planning or S&OP within manufacturing.
- Hands-on MPS/MRP ownership in an ERP environment. Inventory optimization experience with direct accountability for availability and working-capital outcomes, ideally across multiple stocking locations.
- Demonstrated ownership of a cross-functional operating rhythm (SIOP or equivalent).
Preferred:
- Experience planning in a build-to-availability model where delivery dates are a sales lever.
- Service or spare-parts planning for fielded equipment tied to contractual uptime.
- End-of-life / lifetime-buy planning. NetSuite/SAP MRP. APICS/ASCM CPIM.
- Capital equipment, robotics, or RaaS background.
Benefits
- Competitive salary and equity in an early-stage robotics company
- Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision
- Permissive time off policy
- A small team where your work has direct, visible impact on shipped products
