What You’ll Do

As a Packaging Engineer, you’ll be part of our innovative team located in Taiwan. You’ll get to:

• Design, innovate, and execute packaging solutions by working closely with supportive resources.
• Work with global packaging teams and suppliers to develop packaging requirements, material specifications, and project priorities.
• Develop packaging structures to maximize quality/cost based on regionally available materials and qualify through testing protocols.
• Develop specifications, labeling and approvals of all packaging structures.

• Must have a passion for packaging design.
• BS or BA in Packaging Engineering preferred, or Packaging Design, Industrial Design, or Graphic Design with relevant experience.

• 2+ years’ experience in packaging engineering or packaging design.
• Strong understanding of packaging materials (corrugated, paperboard, plastic), packaging related manufacturing processes including, but not limited to, printing, die-cutting, thermoforming, plastic injection and blow molding and the characteristics for packaging structural design.
• Familiar with Artios CAD, TOPS/Cape and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint, Office Skill (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• SAP experience a plus.
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Excellent attention and accuracy with details.
• Good sketching and visualizing skills.
• Self-motivated/self-starter with a positive attitude and able to work within teams.
• Must have strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task and the ability to present ideas and problem-solving suggestions effectively.
