The pay range for this role is:

$124,300.00-$211,700.00/Annual

The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account, without limitation, the candidate’s location, education, job-knowledge, skills, and experience in prior relevant roles.

 

Incentives may also be provided as part of Haemonetics’ employee compensation. For sales roles, employees will be eligible for sales incentive (i.e., commission) under the applicable plan terms. For non-sales roles, employees will be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, the target amount of which varies based on the applicable role, to be governed by the applicable plan terms. Employees may also be eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive plan, with eligibility and target amount dependent on the role.

Job Details

Reporting to the VP, Global Operations Finance, the Senior Manager will act as the leader and central point of contact for all core financial planning and analysis processes and communications supporting the COO-lead organizations (Global Manufacturing & Supply Chain, R&D, Quality and Regulatory Affairs). This role will set the direction for our global team, partnering closely with Corporate FP&A and Accounting teams to develop, deliver and continuously improve all recurring standard financial reporting processes including month-end close, quarterly forecasts, monthly & quarterly operating reviews, the Annual Operating Plan, and the annual multi-year Strategic Plan.  

This role will spearhead definition, prioritization and execution of all technology-enabled finance transformation and process optimization initiatives for the COO Finance organization partnering closely with IT, finance & accounting colleagues and potentially external experts.  This provides a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of building and modernizing our group capabilities for the future. 

The successful candidate will bring a passion and proven capabilities in: (1) designing and managing financial reporting, planning and analytics processes, (2) developing trusted business partner relationships ideally within a global manufacturing & supply chain function, and (3) partnering with technical teams to translate complex financial reporting and analytics requirements into technology requirements for efficient solution delivery.

The role will begin as an individual contributor with potential to build and lead a small team of Financial Analysts over-time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Lead all financial reporting consolidation, analytics and communication processes for the COO Finance organization including the Annual Operating Plan, quarterly forecasts, monthly variance analysis and latest thinking development, and the annual multi-year Strategic Plan.  Manage process calendars and collaborate with finance colleagues and functional leadership to improve the quality and timeliness of process execution.

  • Lead development and delivery of the Quarterly Financial Review package to the Executive Leadership Team.  Design high-quality standardized content for efficient delivery and design specific ad hoc requirements as needed based on business performance and decision support requirements.  Lead follow up actions such as Inventor Relations requirements.

  • Develop and manage the finance transformation priority list for the COO Finance organization. Partner closely with IT, finance colleagues and potential third-party resources to deliver innovative solutions on an increasingly rapid cadence.  Initial focus areas will include automation of standardized reporting, development of real-time dashboards and analytics capabilities, and driving process optimization efforts as part of the Oracle Cloud implementation go-live.

  • Lead monthly manufacturing and supply chain financial performance reviews and effectively define, influence and track follow up actions for integration into future forecasts and financial improvement delivery.  Effectively communicate with global finance and operations teams across multiple time zones.

  • Coordinate and/or provide direct support for acquisition integration or divestiture execution as needs arise in the specific areas described above.

  • Own specific month-end processes and associated accounting/audit requirements such as monthly Capitalization of Manufacturing Variances into Inventory.  Drive standardization, documentation and process improvement over time to improve transparency and predictability.

  • Partner closely with COO Finance colleagues, the Corporate Accounting team, and third-party auditors to execute on recurring audit and pre-audit requirements and include prioritized process improvements within the Finance Transformation delivery process.

  • Design and own the standardized approach to investment financial modeling for the COO Finance organization including metric standardization, hurdle/target rate requirements, modeling mechanics, and decision support processes.  Ensure alignment and influence improvements in Corporate standards and policy development/refinement.

QUALFICATIONS:

  • BSc/BA in Finance/Accounting, Economics or Math required; Master's Degree - preferred, CPA Preferred

  • 8 Years: experience in financial analysis & planning with multi-national companies - Required

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel. Power Point, Salesforce.com, Hyperion, Demantra and Oracle a plus.

  • Travel Expectations: 10%
