The Opportunity
This position is an onsite opportunity within the Abbott Diabetes Care Division in Alameda, California. We are helping people with diabetes lead healthier, happier lives. The Senior Manager, Customer Supply Chain is responsible for owning supply chain operations for assigned product lines and value streams through the leadership of managers and, where applicable, individual contributors. This role oversees key supply chain functions including demand planning, product lifecycle planning, purchasing, production scheduling, inventory management, customer service, freight and logistics, and warehouse efficiency. The position is also responsible for managing performance metrics and scorecards to measure and drive supply chain effectiveness.

What You’ll Work On
- Provide leadership and partner with key stakeholders across the organization to drive process improvements and achieve business objectives.
- Lead and develop Supply Chain managers by setting aligned goals, providing coaching, and managing execution against annual operating plans.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, cross-functional collaboration, and accountability.
- Develop and communicate plans that optimize resources, maintain service levels, and ensure appropriate inventory to support business needs.
- Direct teams, remove obstacles, and implement efficient processes to ensure timely product delivery and cost-effective operations across workforce planning, inventory management, purchasing, and systems utilization.
- Review and assess team recommendations; develop, communicate, and implement annual plans for assigned product lines.
- Develop and manage the Supply Chain budget for assigned value streams and product lines.
- Identify and implement opportunities to maximize synergies across global operations.
- Recruit, develop, and retain a diverse, high-performing team while maintaining a safe and professional work environment.
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, applicable regulatory requirements, company policies, and operating procedures, while fostering positive collaboration with employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain management.
- Minimum 7 years of experience leading and developing Supply Chain teams.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Medical Device industry.
- Minimum 7 years of experience utilizing Supply Chain software and systems.
- Experience leading global supply chain organizations, including policy and procedure development, strategy execution, regulatory compliance, quality systems, and product lifecycle planning.
- Experience working in a complex, cross-functional, and multi-divisional business environment preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse organization.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to set direction, drive accountability, and provide constructive coaching and feedback.
- Proven ability to build collaborative relationships and deliver business results through others.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational, planning, prioritization, and follow-up skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive execution and hold teams accountable to commitments and results.
- Ability to travel up to 25%, including international travel.

The base pay for this position is
$148,700.00 – $297,300.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
