Summary of Position:

The Specialty Pharmacy Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for specialty pharmacy services, ensuring delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining compliance with regulatory, payer, and accreditation requirements.

This position is responsible for overseeing daily pharmacy operations,  advancing performance improvement initiatives, optimizing workflows, ensuring operational compliance, and leading a multidisciplinary team to achieve organizational goals and exceptional patient outcomes.

Work location is 100 Corporate Blvd, Yonkers, NY 10701. 

Requirements:

BS in Pharmacy or PharmD Degree from an accredited educational institution.

Valid NYS Pharmacist license and registration is required.

Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

At least one (1) year of pharmacy experience including prescription filling, record keeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance billing. 

Knowledge of State and Federal rules and regulations related to the practice of pharmacy.

Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge of Outpatient Pharmacy Management Systems, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Epic Electronic Heath Record system, preferred.

Knowledge of 340b drug program.

Two years of pharmacy supervisor experience including overseeing, organizing, and directing the work of pharmacy staff.
