Title : Software Engineer III – React Native Developer and Basics of Native Android

Location: Bengaluru

Candescent is looking for a highly talented Mobile Software Android and react native Engineer to develop cross platform mobile applications for its Digital Banking division. You will be responsible for full life cycle development using mobile development frameworks & technologies in Agile environment.

We are looking for a mobile react native developer who will be developing and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications using the React Native framework, with responsibilities including architecting, building, and optimizing apps for both iOS and Android

Required Skills/Experience

o   BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.

o   6+ Years in IT Industry with 4+ years of experience in building and delivering apps using React Native 

o   Minimum 6+ years of experience in React Native

o   Minimum 2+ year of experience in IOS/Android

o   Expert in analyzing, designing, implementing, and troubleshooting mobile applications for highly transactional systems.

o   Expert in mobile software development using React Native, Swift/Kotlin, Objective C, Xcode/Android Studio & Git.

o   Languages: - JavaScript, React JS, HTML, CSS ,Swift/Kotlin, Objective C/Java, 

o   Experience in building React Native plugins 

o   Solid working knowledge on Redux, React, Expo and Jest. 

o   Strong Problem Solving and Analytical Thinking. 

o    Proficient with Agile software development life cycle. 

o   Experience with REST APIs, XML & JSON.

o   Experience in writing unit test cases 

o   Experience with Agile development methodology.

o   Excellent communication and team player with can-do attitude.

Preferred Skills/Experience

o   Deep technical knowledge of distributed architectures.

o   Experience with test-driven development frameworks or automated testing tools for mobile development.

o   Background working on highly scalable, highly available, fault tolerant systems.

o   Experience with SAFe methodologies

o   Possesses cross functional expertise to implement DevOps, CI/CD practices.
