Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia is seeking a talented and passionate Cook II to join our Culinary team. In this role, you will prepare high-quality breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu items while delivering the exceptional standards of excellence that define Four Seasons. Reporting to the culinary leadership team, you will play a key role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.

What You Will Do

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.

• Work across multiple kitchen stations including grill, sauté, and cold line.

• Complete daily mise en place and station setup for meal service periods.

• Monitor and manage cooking temperatures to ensure food quality and food safety standards.

• Assist with advance preparation of food items based on business volume and production needs.

• Properly store, label, date, and rotate products in accordance with food safety procedures.

• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

• Support inventory control initiatives by minimizing food waste and reporting shortages.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.

• Collaborate professionally with fellow team members and supervisors to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

What You Bring

• Minimum of three years of culinary experience in a professional kitchen environment.

• Intermediate culinary knowledge with strong understanding of cooking techniques and food preparation.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

• Proficient knife skills and the ability to multitask effectively.

• Experience operating commercial kitchen equipment including ovens, grills, fryers, steamers, mixers, and slicers.

• Food Handler or Food Safety certification, or the ability to obtain required certifications.

• Strong commitment to teamwork, cleanliness, and guest service excellence.

Schedule & Hours

• Full-time position

• Generally scheduled for 40 hours per week over five days

• Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs

• Schedule may vary based on operational requirements
