Über diese Senior Video Editor / Creative Production Lead Stelle bei Remote Recruitment
About the Company
Our client is a growing UK-based video marketing agency specialising in high-volume paid advertising content.
The agency supports businesses with performance-focused video content across platforms such as Meta, Google and YouTube. With a strong referral pipeline and increasing client demand, the business is looking for a highly capable creative production professional who can significantly increase its content delivery capacity.
The Role
This is not a standard video editing position.
We are seeking a senior-level video editor and creative production professional who can manage the full content workflow—from receiving raw footage through to delivering approved advertising assets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for running an efficient, high-volume content pipeline while maintaining strong creative and technical standards. You must be confident making appropriate creative decisions within an agreed brief without requiring constant direction or micromanagement.
The role offers a clear progression opportunity, with the successful candidate expected to eventually oversee and manage a team of additional video editors.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete production workflow from raw footage intake through to final client-approved delivery.
- Edit high volumes of paid advertising content, typically producing between 20 and 50 creative assets from each shoot.
- Deliver completed content within turnaround periods of approximately seven to ten days.
- Make confident creative and technical decisions while working within the client brief and brand guidelines.
- Manage review, amendment and approval cycles through Frame.io.
- Interpret timestamped client feedback and implement amendments accurately and efficiently.
- Organise, manage and archive footage and completed assets within Google Drive.
- Review and improve standard operating procedures, editing processes and production workflows.
- Identify opportunities to increase production capacity and reduce turnaround times.
- Use artificial intelligence tools for auto-clipping, transcription, content organisation and batch processing.
- Maintain consistency across multiple formats, platforms, campaigns and client accounts.
- Work with footage captured on a range of equipment, from smartphones to professional camera systems.
- Provide recommendations on shoot-day capture requirements to improve the efficiency of the editing process.
- Support the recruitment, training and management of junior editors as the production team grows.
Essential Requirements
- Strong professional video editing experience within a creative agency, advertising agency or production house.
- Proven experience working in a high-volume, fast-turnaround production environment.
- Demonstrable experience editing paid advertising content rather than primarily long-form, documentary or narrative content.
- Experience producing multiple variations of advertising assets from a single shoot.
- Ability to manage approximately 20 to 50 creative assets within a seven-to-ten-day turnaround period.
- Strong understanding of performance-focused content for platforms such as Meta, Google and YouTube.
- Proficiency using Frame.io for reviews, amendments, timestamped feedback and approvals.
- Strong Google Drive file management and content-archiving skills.
- Experience using artificial intelligence tools to improve editing and production efficiency.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and client requirements.
- A systems-focused mindset with an understanding that an efficient production pipeline is central to successful delivery.
- Ability to work independently, solve problems and take initiative without waiting for detailed instructions.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain quality across a large volume of content.
- Comfortable working with footage of varying quality, from smartphone recordings to footage captured using high-end professional equipment.
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote working environment in South Africa.
Advantageous Experience
- Previous experience managing, mentoring or quality-checking the work of junior video editors.
- Experience working in a performance marketing or paid social agency.
- Knowledge of Meta Ads, Google Ads and YouTube advertising formats.
- Experience using Notion to manage production workflows, briefs, tasks or standard operating procedures.
- Experience designing or improving workflow automations.
- Ability to advise production teams on how footage should be captured to improve editing efficiency.
- Understanding of platform-specific video requirements, including aspect ratios, hooks, captions, pacing and creative variations.
- Experience managing creative testing variations for paid advertising campaigns.
