About the Job
This role will define and drive the product strategy, roadmap and market direction for Keeper Secrets Manager. The ideal candidate brings direct experience in secrets management, machine identity, DevOps security or a closely related cybersecurity market and understands how developers and enterprises secure credentials across applications, infrastructure, cloud environments and CI/CD workflows. This is a highly technical product role that requires the ability to work closely with Engineering, Security, Solutions and customers on APIs, SDKs, command-line tools, integrations and developer workflows. The Senior Technical Product Manager will translate complex technical and market requirements into secure, scalable and developer-friendly product capabilities that drive adoption, differentiation and growth.
Responsibilities
- Own the product vision, strategy and roadmap for Keeper Secrets Manager
- Identify and prioritize product opportunities based on customer needs, market trends, competitive intelligence and business impact
- Develop a deep understanding of secrets management workflows across developers, DevOps teams, security teams and enterprise customers
- Translate technical requirements into clear product specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria and execution plans
- Partner closely with Engineering on APIs, SDKs, command-line tools, integrations, authentication flows and secrets lifecycle capabilities
- Work with customers, Solutions Engineering and Support to understand pain points, validate requirements and improve product adoption
- Define and improve capabilities related to secrets storage, access, rotation, injection, auditing, revocation and policy enforcement
- Shape developer experience across documentation, APIs, SDKs, integrations and self-service workflows
- Evaluate competitive products and market developments across secrets management, machine identity, workload identity and DevSecOps security
- Define and track product success metrics, including adoption, usage, retention, customer impact and revenue contribution
- Coordinate across Engineering, Security, Marketing, Sales, Solutions and Documentation to support successful launches and go-to-market execution
- Use AI-enabled tools such as Claude, ChatGPT or similar platforms to improve product research, technical analysis, requirements development, documentation and day-to-day execution
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience with technical, developer-focused or cybersecurity products
- Direct experience working in secrets management, machine identity, DevOps security, cloud security or a closely related market
- Strong understanding of secrets lifecycle management, including creation, storage, access, rotation, injection, auditing and revocation
- Strong technical fluency with APIs, SDKs, command-line tools, authentication patterns and modern software development workflows
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, cloud platforms, containers, Kubernetes and automation ecosystems
- Ability to read technical documentation, understand implementation details and work effectively with engineers on technical requirements and tradeoffs
- Experience defining and delivering developer-focused or integration-heavy product capabilities
- Strong customer discovery, market analysis and product prioritization skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for executive, customer and engineering audiences
- Experience working in Agile software development environments
- Ability and willingness to use AI-enabled tools such as Claude, ChatGPT or similar platforms to support research, technical analysis, documentation, prioritization and workflow efficiency
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Product management experience with a secrets management platform or closely related cybersecurity product
- Familiarity with products such as HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault, Google Secret Manager, CyberArk, Akeyless, Doppler or similar platforms
- Experience with machine identity, workload identity, non-human identities or privileged access management
- Experience supporting developer and DevOps workflows involving GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes or similar tools
- Hands-on experience writing code, scripts or technical prototypes in languages such as Python, Go, Java, JavaScript or similar
- Experience working with cloud-native and multi-cloud environments
- Familiarity with zero-trust, least-privilege and secrets security principles
- Experience launching and growing technical SaaS or developer platform products
- Experience using AI-assisted product development or technical research workflows to accelerate discovery, analysis, documentation or prototyping

7. Retention
We keep your data for 24 months from your last application activity, then delete or anonymize it.
