This is a hybrid position. You’ll divide your time between working remotely from your home and an office, so you should live within commuting distance. Hybrid teams may work in-office as much as a few times a week or as little as once a month or quarter, as decided by leadership. Our Domains Investor team is looking for a senior software engineer to join us in building and improving the Domain Investing experience at GoDaddy. As a senior software development engineer, you will work in a scrum team assisting with user stories for a full stack, customer-facing product team responsible for GoDaddy's aftermarket domain services. We are seeking to scale out our services globally and make them as mobile responsive as possible.

What you'll get to do...

• Contribute to building and improving backend services and APIs for GoDaddy’s domain investing platform
• Support development of responsive, customer-facing features, with opportunities to work across the full stack
• Write scalable, reliable, and cloud-ready code following engineering best practices
• Participate in debugging and solving well-defined technical problems within the team’s scope
• Collaborate in an Agile environment, contributing to testing (unit/functional) and iterative release

Your experience should include...

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, including building full stack applications and scalable systems
• Strong proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, C#, or Go
• Solid experience working across backend services and frontend/UI technologies
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, software design, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud computing
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing, deployment automation, and cloud platforms, along with good communication skills

You might also have...

• BS/MS or equivalent experience in a computer science, information system or related discipline
• Passion to develop elegant and cutting-edge solutions for real-world business problems
• Strong desire to learn and grow
• Exposure to AI tools and technologies is a plus
• Experience in an Agile development environment is preferred
