Job Description 

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This is an in-office position and offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic and collaborative environment. As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software products.  

Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, Selenium, and other test automation tools.  
• Conduct exploratory testing to identify and document software defects.  
• Perform performance testing using JMeter to ensure the scalability and reliability of our applications.  
• Test applications in cloud-based platforms.  
• Work with Azure DevOps to manage test cases, test plans, and CI/CD pipelines. 

Functional Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver high-quality software products.  
• Create detailed documentation and data-driven reports to communicate test results and insights.  
• Understand and test microservices, micro frontends, APIs, and provide comprehensive test coverage. 

Technical Skills

• Excellent English communication (equivalent to at least 7.5 IELTS score)
• 5+ years experience with 3+ years of experience in QA automation and exploratory testing.  
• Proficiency in Playwright/TypeScript, Selenium, JMeter, and other relevant testing tools.  
• Experience with performance testing and analyzing performance metrics.  
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams. 
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.  
• Strong understanding of testing microservices, micro frontends, and APIs.  
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills with a data-driven approach.  
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 
• Must be able to demonstrate experience using agentic coding tools, such as Claude Code or Codex for writing automated tests. 

Things that will separate you from the rest

• Experience in the Fintech industry.  
• Knowledge of other test automation frameworks and tools.  
• Certifications in QA or related fields.  

Education or Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
