Senior Networking Systems Engineer – Southern Massachusetts (Remote)

We are seeking a Senior Networking Systems Engineer to support enterprise customers throughout Southern Massachusetts.

This is a remote, territory-based position. Candidates must reside within the assigned territory and be available to travel regularly to customer sites.

As a trusted technical advisor, you will partner with Territory Managers to identify opportunities, design innovative networking solutions, and guide customers through every stage of the sales cycle—from discovery and solution design to Proof of Concept (PoC) and deployment.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the senior pre-sales technical advisor for enterprise customers within your assigned territory.

• Partner with Territory Managers to qualify opportunities and develop winning account strategies.

• Design and present end-to-end networking solutions that address customer business and technical requirements.

• Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and Proofs of Concept (PoCs).

• Develop solution architectures, technical proposals, and implementation recommendations.

• Position HPE Networking solutions against competitive offerings by clearly articulating technical and business value.

• Build trusted relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

• Support channel partners and demand-generation activities to expand business opportunities.

• Maintain a strong understanding of emerging networking technologies and competitive market trends.

• Manage a healthy opportunity pipeline and support complex sales engagements through successful closure.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of infrastructure engineering, systems engineering, or pre-sales experience supporting enterprise networking environments.

• Strong customer-facing communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills.

• Demonstrated ability to design and present technical solutions that solve complex customer challenges.

• Experience working with executive and technical stakeholders throughout the sales process.

• Aruba Networking and/or Juniper Mist platforms

• Routing & Switching

• Enterprise Wireless Networking

• Network Security

• Network Access Control (NAC), including Aruba ClearPass, Cisco ISE, Cloud NAC, or Juniper Access Assurance

• Wireless design, deployment, troubleshooting, and pre-/post-site surveys

• Enterprise network architecture and solution design

• Industry certifications such as CWNA, CWDP, CWSP, Aruba, Juniper, Cisco, or equivalent.

• Experience developing technical proposals and implementation specifications.

• Experience building and leading customer Proofs of Concept (PoCs).

• Strong understanding of competitive networking technologies and enterprise solution selling.

Location & Travel

• Remote, territory-based role supporting customers throughout Southern Massachusetts.

• Candidates must reside within the assigned territory.

• Travel to customer sites is expected approximately three days per week for customer meetings, presentations, demonstrations, and Proofs of Concept.

"The expected salary/wage range for this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level.
– United States of America: Annual Salary USD 166,000 - 322,000 in Massachusetts
This range reflects the minimum to maximum combined base and target-level sales compensation that would be paid if the hire performs at 100% of their sales plan. Of that on-target pay amount, the mix of base salary and target-level sales compensation is 75%/25%."
