Senior Lead Quality Engineer
Job requirements
Experience Range: 5 to 8 years of experience in quality engineering, including substantial hands-on expertise in microservices testing and automation Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement robust quality assurance strategies for microservices-based systems to ensure high reliability and scalabilityDevelop and maintain automated test frameworks using Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies, achieving targeted test coverage metricsManage test data creation, manipulation, and maintenance to support comprehensive test coverage across multiple environmentsConfigure and execute API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, and Rest-Assured to validate RESTful and SOAP services, ensuring adherence to performance and security standardsUtilize Zephyr for test management, tracking test execution, and reporting results to stakeholders with actionable insightsCollaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate quality processes into CI/CD pipelines, enhancing release efficiency and reducing defect ratesConduct code reviews to ensure adherence to quality engineering best practices and mentor junior engineers in test automation and integration designDrive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing optimizations in test coverage, performance, and reliabilityRequired Skills:
Advanced proficiency in test data management for microservicesStrong experience with Postman for API testingExpertise in Behavior Driven Development (BDD) frameworksHands-on experience with SoapUI for functional and security testingSkilled in Zephyr for test management and reportingIn-depth knowledge of Test Driven Development (TDD) practicesProficiency in Rest-Assured for automated API validationMicroservices architecture testing and automationIntegration validation in distributed systemsPreferred Skills:
Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flow in Salesforce environmentsKnowledge of Agentforce or Prompt Builder for advanced configuration in SalesforceExpertise in CPQ configuration for enterprise applicationsData-model design for large-scale microservices applicationsExperience with integration design for cross-platform microservices systemsFamiliarity with code review tools such as SonarQube or GitHub code reviewDesired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related disciplineCertified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) or equivalent certificationISTQB Advanced Test Automation Engineer certification or similar credential
