Job Description

You will be responsible for planning and coordinating materials, inventory, procurement, and production activities to support successful new product launches and product lifecycle management. Ensures supply-demand alignment, material availability for prototypes and production, inventory optimization, and smooth end-of-life transitions. Partners with cross-functional teams to drive supply chain readiness, minimize obsolescence costs, and maintain operational efficiency.

You will report to the Manager, Strategic Sourcing Manager and work Hybrid in Singapore

Your Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate material requirements, inventory, and procurement activities to support new product launches, prototypes, and pilot builds.
• Develop stocking strategies and manage component/finished goods inventory throughout the product lifecycle, from launch to end-of-life.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Production Control, and Supply Chain teams to ensure material availability and maintain product release schedules.
• Demonstrate effective communication and stakeholder management skills, able to partner with related departments to exchange knowledge, resolve issues, align priorities, and deliver results promptly
• Manage SAP forecasting, demand-supply planning, and inventory parameters to achieve product availability and supply chain health.
• Support end-of-life planning activities to minimise inventory obsolescence and scrap costs.
• Participate in S&OP reviews, capacity planning, and cross-functional understanding for new product introductions.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Bachelor's Degree or Supply chain Management degree
• New Product Introduction (NPI) and product lifecycle management.
• Material planning, inventory management, and supply-demand planning.
• Procurement and supplier coordination.
• SAP forecasting, and inventory management.
• Production scheduling and supply chain operations.
• Project management and cross-functional stakeholder management.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• 5+ Years in Procurement, Material planning and SAP
• Experience with S&OP processes and capacity planning.
• Knowledge of production control and manufacturing operations.
• Advanced Excel skills (can maintain complex spreadsheets) for reporting, analysis, and inventory tracking.
• Obsolescence management and scrap cost reduction experience.
• Mentor, and guide junior planners.
