We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Development Engineer to design, develop, and optimize modern, scalable web applications using contemporary front-end and back-end technologies. As a Senior Development Engineer, you will play a critical role in building responsive user interfaces, developing backend services, integrating APIs, and driving engineering best practices across the software development lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with product, UX, QA, DevOps, and engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable applications while contributing to architecture decisions and continuous technical innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React and modern front-end technologies.
• Build and enhance backend services and business logic using Node.js and Java.
• Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces using TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and ensure seamless communication between front-end and backend systems.
• Manage front-end build processes using tools such as Webpack, Babel, npm, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Troubleshoot application issues, optimize performance, and ensure compatibility across browsers and devices.
• Follow engineering best practices including code reviews, design patterns, coding standards, and accessibility guidelines.
• Work within Unix/Linux environments and contribute to the development of distributed systems and scalable applications.
• Participate in technical design discussions, maintain documentation, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the engineering team.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 10+ years of experience in web application or full-stack software development.
• Strong hands-on expertise in React, Node.js, Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design, development, and integration.
• Experience working with front-end build tools, package managers, and CI/CD technologies including Webpack, Babel, npm, and Jenkins.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, performance optimization, design patterns, and secure coding practices.
• Experience working in Unix/Linux environments and distributed application architectures.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
• Familiarity with UI automation frameworks such as Selenium or Python-based testing tools is an advantage.
• Exposure to micro-frontend architecture, cloud platforms, and modern DevOps practices is a plus.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring abilities with experience working in Agile development environments.
