We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Python Developer with strong backend engineering expertise to design and build scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Python, API development, database optimization, cloud-native technologies, and distributed systems. You will play a key role in building robust backend services that power next-generation AI-driven products.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities
 

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
   
• Build high-performance RESTful APIs using FastAPI or Flask.
   
• Design efficient, scalable database schemas and optimize database performance.
   
• Develop thread-safe, concurrent, and high-throughput backend applications.
   
• Build clean, reusable, and maintainable code following engineering best practices.
   
• Containerize applications using Docker and deploy them on Kubernetes.
   
• Develop and maintain API documentation using OpenAPI/Swagger.
   
• Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
   
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
   

Required Skills
 

• 8–12 years of hands-on experience in Python backend development.
   
• Strong expertise in Python 3.x.
   
• Extensive experience with FastAPI and/or Flask.
   
• Strong hands-on experience with SQLAlchemy ORM, session management, and database transactions.
   
• Solid understanding of multithreading, concurrency, asynchronous programming, and thread-safe application development.
   
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL, including database design, indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning.
   
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
   
• Experience deploying and managing applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
   
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, OpenAPI, and Swagger.
   
• Experience with Git, code reviews, unit testing, and software engineering best practices.
   
• Good understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and scalable application design.
   

Preferred Skills
 

• Experience building AI/ML-enabled applications.
   
• Exposure to Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging technologies.
   
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
   
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and application performance optimization.
   
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
