The department is responsible for growing revenues through effective multi-channel market engagement, proactive data product development, and responsive client service.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the subject-matter expert for reporting queries, working with licensees to resolve non-submissions, discrepancies and interpretation issues.
  • Assess reported usage and customer arrangements against applicable licence terms and policies, document exceptions, agree corrective actions and escalate material or recurring breaches.
  • Analyse usage, contractual and billing data to identify anomalies, fee discrepancies and potential revenue leakage, applying an understanding of customer business models.
  • Partner with Finance on fee validation, billing reconciliations, revenue assurance, variance analysis and payment-related enquiries.
  • Support the Manager, Market Data Audits & Compliance in delivering the audit programme and undertake remote and on-site compliance reviews within an agreed scope and timetable.
  • Prepare evidence-based findings and recommendations, track agreed remediation and escalate material revenue, licensing or control issues on a risk-based basis.
  • Produce clear management information on reporting quality, compliance risks, audit activity, remediation and revenue assurance.
  • Maintain and improve reporting processes, controls, systems and governance tools to enhance efficiency, transparency and data quality.
  • Support and provide cover for the Manager, Market Data Audits & Compliance on day-to-day operational matters, including prioritisation of reporting and review activity and escalation of urgent issues.
