We are seeking a talented individual to join our FINPRO practice team at Marsh. This role will be based from our Adelaide office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As a Senior Account Executive, you will implement Client First Principles across your portfolio of small to medium accounts, ensuring high-quality customer service and consistent attainment of revenue and expense budgets.

We will count on you to:

• Consistently achieve agreed service standards.
• Foster effective long-term relationships with key client decision makers and frequently monitor political, management, and other changes to preserve and protect these relationships.
• Take a pro-active approach to all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met.
• Implement successful account retention and defence strategies.
• Maintain an awareness of all large and potentially complicated claim-related matters and assist claims colleagues in the negotiation of equitable claim settlements on behalf of clients.
• Possess a thorough understanding of all major classes of financial lines policies offered to clients and keep abreast of all new technical and product developments.
• Possess a thorough working knowledge of all aspects of the Insurance (Agents & Brokers) Act, Insurance Contracts Act, Fire Services Levy, Stamp Duties, Worker's Compensation, and other relevant legislation, keeping abreast of all new developments.

What you need to have:

• Tier 1 qualified.
• Demonstrated experience in insurance broking or underwriting.
• Experience managing a large portfolio with volume of accounts.
• Experience looking after commercial and corporate accounts.
• Strong commercial acumen.
• Excellent delivery of technical, administrative, and consulting support to internal and external clients.
