About the role

MSS Security is looking for a motivated Full Time Security Officer to join our team in Cairns and play a key role in protecting a high-profile site.

With your NV1 Clearance, you’ll have the opportunity to work in a professional security environment, build on your experience, and develop your skills while being part of a trusted and supportive team.

Duties may include but are not limited to:

• Welcome visitors and contractors, manage access and issue passes.
• Provide friendly customer service and liaise with emergency services when needed.
• Complete regular patrols, respond to incidents and keep accurate records.
• Use computer systems to record activities and complete required paperwork.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, access control and radio communications to keep the site safe and secure.

Skills & Experience

• Must be an Australian Citizen
• Must hold a NV1 Clearance
• Current QLD Security licence
• Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain)
• Must be available to work a 24/7 roster
