The Security Officer will ensure overall safety for all employees and hotel guests; Ensure the safety of all employees and guests; secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry. Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers. Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; assist in VIP and group arrivals/departures.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
The qualified candidate will possess a passion for flawless service and the highest level of integrity and work ethic. Prior experience with safety and security within a hotel and/or law enforcement a plus.
Qualifications include:
Solid communication and organization skills
Ability to stay calm during potential emergency situations
Strong computer skills
Strong interpersonal and team player skills
Certified in CPR and First Aid a plus
