The Opportunity

Here at ProPharma we are continuing to expand our Digital Transformation group and we are now seeking a new member of the team based in commutable distance from Melbourne to work on a Hybrid basis. This role is offered as a one year fixed term contract with a great chance of an extension at the end of initial contract.

In this newly created function, we are looking for a Scientific Business Analyst who will be supporting a key life-sciences client on a full time basis. This individual needs to have a technical mindset and be able to work effectively with technology and scientific groups to reach a common goal.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise on clients' global scientific platforms

• Gather requirements, develop process maps, and translate them into workflows

• Develop, implement, validate, and maintain scientific technology solutions

• Ensure alignment with global governance frameworks and best practices for systems

• Collaborate with internal and external developers for building and implementation phases.

• Design and deliver training materials and sessions to encourage user adoption and standardization.

• Working with data analysis tools such as SQL or Python

• Previously Laboratory experience would be key ideally using applications such as LIMS etc.

Skills required

• Experience with scientific laboratory workflows in the life science space - understanding of challenges in the space and strategies to address them

• Business analysis (requirements gathering and documentation)

• Experience in data analysis using SQL or Python and computer systems testing would be highly desirable

• Laboratory experience, experience using laboratory applications (eg. ELN, LIMS, MES) and/or instrument data software (Unicorn, Empower, Chromeleon, OSI-Pi)[TT1] [RH2]

• Experience in GxP validated or otherwise compliant environments

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Strong stakeholder and change management

• Structured approach to problem-solving
