You will be supported through structured sales training and coaching while developing your ability to engage prospects professionally, ask insightful questions, and consistently generate quality appointments.

Ideal Profile
Sales & Business Development Experience
- Previous experience in outbound sales, appointment setting, telesales, lead generation, or a similar customer-facing role.
- Strong experience communicating professionally with prospects over the telephone.
- Comfortable conducting both warm and cold outbound calls.
- Experience engaging with business owners, directors, or senior decision-makers is highly desirable.
- Comfortable working towards call, conversation, and appointment-setting targets.
Prospect Engagement
- Strong active listening skills with the ability to adapt conversations based on prospect responses.
- Naturally curious and confident asking relevant, open-ended follow-up questions.
- Ability to identify customer needs, business challenges, and potential pain points through conversation.
- Comfortable having genuine conversations rather than relying solely on a fixed sales script.
- Strong written communication skills for email outreach and prospect follow-ups.
Tools & Systems
- Proficiency with email and Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet applications.
- Comfortable learning and using automated dialling and prospecting systems.
- Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms is advantageous.
- LinkedIn prospecting experience is beneficial.
- Previous experience with automated diallers or sales engagement platforms is desirable.

Responsibilities
Outbound Prospecting
- Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting to business owners and directors, primarily within organisations of approximately 10–200 employees.
- Engage with both warm and cold prospects through professional and consultative telephone conversations.
- Use automated dialling and prospecting systems to manage outbound activity efficiently.
- Maintain a positive and proactive approach to prospecting while handling rejection professionally.
Prospect Qualification & Appointment Setting
- Ask relevant, open-ended questions to understand prospect needs, challenges, and potential pain points.
- Adapt conversations naturally based on the prospect's responses rather than following a rigid script.
- Identify qualified prospects and assess their level of interest and suitability.
- Schedule appropriate appointments for further discussions with the business.
- Maintain a friendly, professional, and courteous approach without relying on high-pressure sales techniques.
CRM, Follow-Up & Administration
- Accurately record calls, conversations, follow-ups, prospect information, and appointments using spreadsheets and relevant systems.
- Manage email communication and conduct timely follow-ups with prospects.
- Maintain accurate prospect information and ensure agreed follow-up actions are completed.
- Consistently work towards agreed activity and appointment-setting targets.
Training & Continuous Development
- Participate actively in sales training, coaching, and ongoing professional development.
- Apply feedback and coaching to continuously improve prospecting and communication techniques.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative sales environment focused on generating quality opportunities.
