SCOPE/CONTACTS:

The Retail Administrator provides support to the Regional Retail Manager and assists with the execution of retail banking initiatives across an assigned region. This position serves as a resource to branch leadership and retail employees by helping promote operational consistency, policy adherence, customer service standards, employee development, and regional priorities.

The Retail Administrator works closely with the Regional Retail Manager, branch leadership, retail employees, and internal support departments to help ensure effective communication, follow-up, and execution of retail objectives. This role is designed to provide regional support while also creating an additional development opportunity within the retail banking career path.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Supports the Regional Retail Manager in the execution of retail banking priorities, initiatives, and expectations across assigned locations.
• Serves as a resource to branch leadership and retail employees regarding operational questions, procedures, and daily branch support needs.
• Assists with communication, follow-up, and coordination of regional retail initiatives.
• Helps reinforce consistent application of bank policies, procedures, and customer service expectations.
• Assists with onboarding, training, and development of retail employees as directed by the Regional Retail Manager.
• Provides support with audit preparation, operational follow-up, compliance awareness, and corrective action tracking.
• Reviews reports, metrics, and other retail banking information to help identify trends, opportunities, and items requiring follow-up.
• Assists with staffing, scheduling, branch coverage, and workflow support as needed.
• Participates in regional meetings, branch visits, and other retail banking activities as assigned.
• Helps support employee engagement, communication, and the continued development of future retail leaders.
• Partners with internal departments as needed to assist with implementation of new products, services, procedures, or operational changes.
• Provides customer service support and assists with escalated customer situations when appropriate.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 years Retail banking experience required.
• Prior branch leadership, supervisory, or related retail banking experience required.
• Strong knowledge of branch operations, policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
• Demonstrated ability to support, coach, and communicate effectively with retail employees.
• Strong organizational, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build effective working relationships across branches and departments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicable bank systems.
• Must be able to travel within the assigned region as needed.
• Saturday hours and holiday hours may be a requirement based on branch location’s hours of operation.
