This senior leadership role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial reporting and accounting processes across the APAC region, including Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. The role oversees multi-country financial operations with a mix of mature and emerging markets, ensuring alignment with global standards while addressing local statutory, regulatory, and tax requirements. The Regional Controller acts as a key finance partner to regional leadership, providing strategic insights, leading controllership transformation, and driving consistency, efficiency, and strong governance across diverse regulatory environments.

Where You’ll Make a Difference

• Accountable of the financial statements and accounting across all APAC legal entities.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, local GAAP, and regulatory requirements across multiple APAC jurisdictions.
• Lead and coordinate regional financial close processes, ensuring timely and high-quality reporting according to the Group calendar.
• Oversee account reconciliations, ensuring resolution of high-risk balances and aged items.
• Provide deep financial analysis and performance insights across countries with varying complexity and maturity.
• Partner with business leaders and external stakeholders, including auditors, regulators, and boards, while driving cash flow and margin optimization.
• Manage statutory reporting, audits, and tax compliance in collaboration with Corporate Tax and external auditors.
• Drive implementation of accounting policies, controls, and transformation initiatives, including process standardization, automation, and shared service integration.
• Lead and develop APAC controllership teams, fostering capability building, succession planning, and continuous improvement across the region.

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in accounting/controllership. 8+ years of people management experience in multinational environments.
• Strong technical accounting expertise (US GAAP, IFRS, Local GAAP).
• Deep understanding of SOX and internal controls.
• Experience managing complex multi-country operations.
• Strong business partnering and strategic thinking skills.
• Experience in finance transformation and process improvement.
• Ability to manage diverse teams across cultures and geographies.
• Strong stakeholder management at senior leadership level.

How You Would Stand Out

• Professional certification required (CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Demonstrated success resolving complex accounting, regulatory, and fiscal matters across multiple countries and jurisdictions.
