We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Recruitment Assistant Manager to lead and manage recruitment activities across multiple functions and levels. The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of experience in end-to-end recruitment, strong team-handling capabilities, and excellent stakeholder management skills. This role will involve managing the complete recruitment lifecycle, driving hiring targets, mentoring recruitment team members, and partnering closely with business leaders and hiring managers to understand and fulfill talent requirements.
The successful candidate should be highly organized, target-oriented, and capable of managing multiple hiring requirements simultaneously while ensuring a positive candidate experience and maintaining high recruitment standards.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including understanding manpower requirements, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer management, and onboarding coordination.
- Partner with hiring managers and business stakeholders to understand job requirements, define candidate profiles, and establish appropriate hiring strategies.
- Lead recruitment for multiple positions across different functions, experience levels, and business units.
- Develop effective sourcing strategies using job portals, professional networks, employee referrals, social media, databases, and other talent channels.
- Review and improve recruitment processes to enhance time-to-hire, quality of hire, cost efficiency, and candidate experience.
- Handle and prioritize multiple recruitment mandates while ensuring hiring timelines and business requirements are met.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of recruiters, providing regular guidance, performance feedback, and support to achieve individual and team hiring targets.
- Allocate recruitment requirements among team members and monitor daily/weekly progress against hiring goals.
- Track recruitment metrics such as open positions, profiles sourced, interviews scheduled, selection ratios, offer-to-joining ratios, and time-to-fill.
- Conduct regular reviews with the recruitment team and identify areas for improvement in sourcing and conversion performance.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, hiring managers, business leaders, and HR teams to ensure smooth execution of recruitment activities.
- Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders throughout the recruitment lifecycle and provide regular updates on hiring progress.
- Resolve recruitment-related challenges and proactively communicate potential delays, talent-market constraints, and sourcing challenges.
- Ensure candidates receive timely communication and maintain a professional and engaging candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records, candidate databases, trackers, and reports.
- Stay updated on talent-market trends, competitor hiring practices, sourcing techniques, and recruitment technology to continuously improve hiring outcomes.
Must-Have Skills
- End-to-End Recruitment: Strong hands-on experience managing the complete recruitment lifecycle from requirement gathering and sourcing to selection, offer management, and onboarding.
- Team Handling: Proven experience managing, mentoring, and driving a team of recruiters toward defined hiring targets and timelines.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent ability to work with hiring managers, business leaders, HR teams, and other stakeholders while managing expectations and delivering recruitment outcomes.
- Strong sourcing and candidate evaluation skills across multiple hiring levels and functions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong understanding of recruitment metrics, hiring funnels, and performance management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Experience
5–10 years of experience in recruitment/talent acquisition, with significant experience in end-to-end hiring, team handling, and stakeholder management.
