Job Description
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Purchasing Officer to join our dynamic and successful team. As a key member of the team and reporting directly to the Procurement Coordinator, this multifaceted role will see you responsible for:
- Providing safe and cost-effective procurement services that supports a sustainable mining operation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records within ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to clarify purchasing requirements and ensure timely delivery of goods/services.
- Daily activities include purchase requisition conversion, purchase order updating, overdue order expediting, invoice reconciliation, supplier liaison and end-user support.

About the Candidate
The successful candidate will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
- Certificate III/IV in Procurement, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- 2+ years’ experience in a purchasing, supply chain, or procurement role, ideally in mining, manufacturing, or heavy industry
