Business Development Team Lead - Remote or Hybrid
Prompt is revolutionizing healthcare by delivering highly automated and modern software to rehab therapy businesses, the teams within, and the patients they serve. As the fastest growing company in the therapy EMR space and the new standard in healthcare technology, we’re looking to bring on a Business Development Manager Team Lead to help lead our BDRs as we continue to scale our Success team!
Why work for Prompt?
BIG Challenges: Here at Prompt, we are solving complex and unique problems that have plagued the healthcare industry since the dawn of time.
Talented People: Prompt didn't happen by chance, it's a team of incredibly talented and proven individuals who all made their mark before joining forces to build the greatest software on the planet for rehab therapists.
Healthy Approach: This isn't an investment bank, we work long hours when it's needed, but at Prompt you own your workload and the entire organization takes a liking to smart work (over hard work).
Positive Impact: Prompt helps outpatient rehab organizations treat more patients and deliver better care with less environmental waste. That means less surgery and less narcotic-based pain treatment, all while turning a paper-heavy industry digital. We aren't enthralled with patting ourselves on the back everyday, but it does feel good :)
The Role:
Prompt has an industry-leading BDR team. We are looking for a data-focused, highly motivated teammate to help manage the BDR team!
You will report to the Manager of Business Development. This role poses an amazing opportunity to start on the Leadership Track if leadership is specifically where you would like to grow! The role has mixed individual contributor and leadership responsibilities.

Lead by example by maintaining strong personal prospecting habits and demonstrating effective calling, messaging, follow-up, and objection-handling techniques.
Monitor team metrics and KPIs, including calls, connects, conversations, demos booked, demos arrived, conversion rates, pipeline generated, and overall quota attainment.
Provide ongoing sales coaching based on individual performance data, call recordings, and observed behaviors.
Support onboarding and ramping of new BDRs by helping facilitate training, role plays, shadowing, systems training, and early-stage performance management.
Reinforce sales processes and best practices, ensuring BDRs consistently follow established workflows, qualification criteria, CRM requirements, and prospecting strategies.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and communicate trends, challenges, and recommendations to BDR leadership.
Create accountability within the team by setting clear expectations, following up on commitments, and addressing performance issues early.
Partner cross-functionally with AEs, Marketing, and Sales Leadership to improve lead quality, handoffs, messaging, and overall sales performance.
Help motivate and engage the team by fostering a positive, competitive, collaborative culture and recognizing strong performance.
Assist with team initiatives and contests, including campaign launches, prospecting initiatives, new talk tracks, and incentive programs.
Support performance management, including documenting coaching, identifying consistent performance gaps, and partnering with leadership on development plans when needed.
Stay current on product, market, and competitive knowledge and ensure the BDR team can effectively communicate Prompt's value proposition.
Serve as a point of contact for day-to-day BDR questions, helping reps troubleshoot prospecting, process, and workflow challenges.
