Job Summary
Responsible for project support and coordination of programs for the Workplace Health & Safety organization. Coordinator ensures ongoing organization of programs and project deliverables. Works collaboratively with managers and directors across the organization, as well as other stakeholders and clients on assigned task and project support. Typically reports to Program Director, Employer Solutions.Job Description
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Health Promotion or other health-related field required.
Licenses/Certifications: (None)
Experience / Knowledge / Skills:
Two (2) years of experience in health-related field, preferred.
Ability to organize and execute on deliverables while responding to multiple requests.
Effectively manages time to complete various competing priorities.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Principal Accountabilities
Assists with development of programs for Workplace Health & Safety.
Provides project support for program implementation. Provides timely deliverables for various projects.
Coordinates internal processes and procedures to support the program delivery process.
Assists in development and organization of materials and coordinates with stakeholders for onsite client events.
Assists in developing data reports and tracking metrics, demonstrating value of programs and project work.
Engages in continuous process improvement and applies those techniques to project coordination work.
Assists in developing surveys and other opportunities to solicit feedback and articulate value and impact of programs for Memorial Hermann and/or client partners.
Serves as liaison to medical school residency coordinators to schedule and onboard residents for training.
Organizes training experiences for residents, ensuring key objectives are met during rotations.
Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.
Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff.
