  • Support effective technical handover between tendering and project execution teams.
Supplier Engineering, Testing, and Quality
  • Lead technical discussions and structured evaluations with suppliers during tendering and project execution.
  • Challenge unsupported deviations, unnecessary design complexity, and over-specification while maintaining safety, quality, reliability, and contractual compliance.
  • Define and verify inspection and testing requirements. Review type-test validity, test coverage, FAT procedures, test results, certificates, and technical deviations.
  • Identify missing or non-compliant technical evidence, assess the associated technical risk, and define appropriate corrective actions.
  • Support Sourcing and Quality in supplier selection, qualification, technical alignment, development, and performance improvement.
  • Support root-cause investigations, non-conformance resolution, and corrective actions for component-related issues.
Standardization and Technical Leadership
  • Develop and maintain standard specifications, RFQ templates, technical evaluation criteria, checklists, reference solutions, and engineering guidance for MV components.
  • Promote the reuse of proven and standardized solutions while recognizing justified project-specific requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce engineering effort, equipment lead time, lifecycle cost, and technical risk.
  • Capture lessons learned and incorporate relevant findings into specifications, checklists, standard work, and supplier requirements.
  • Contribute to engineering databases, equipment libraries, digital tools, and structured supplier information.
  • Provide practical technical guidance and mentoring to engineers working on MV component activities.
  • Review critical engineering deliverables and promote a First Time Right approach through clear requirements, disciplined reviews, and sound technical decisions.
