Product Designer (UX/UI) – Remote

About the Role
At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a Product Designer (UX/UI) to create intuitive, modern, and user-friendly digital experiences across web and mobile products.
You’ll own the design process from user research and wireframing through high-fidelity UI, prototyping, and developer handoff, working closely with Product and Engineering.
We’re looking for someone who combines strong UX problem-solving with polished visual design and knows how to turn complex ideas into simple, engaging product experiences.
What You’ll Do
UX Research & Product Discovery
- Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and surveys
- Create user flows, personas, and journey maps
- Identify friction points and opportunities to improve the product
- Use tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Hotjar to understand user behavior
UX/UI Design & Prototyping
- Create wireframes, user flows, and clickable prototypes
- Design polished, responsive interfaces for web and mobile
- Work primarily in Figma, with Adobe XD or Sketch experience also valuable
- Iterate designs based on user feedback, testing, and product requirements
Design Systems
- Build and maintain reusable components and design patterns
- Maintain consistency across typography, spacing, colors, and UI elements
- Help scale design systems as products grow
Collaboration & Handoff
- Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders
- Translate product requirements into clear design solutions
- Prepare organized developer handoffs using Figma Dev Mode, Zeplin, or similar tools
- Review implementations to ensure design accuracy and usability
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of Product Design / UX/UI experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating both UX thinking and UI craftsmanship
- Strong proficiency with Figma
- Experience designing responsive web and/or mobile products
- Strong understanding of:
- User flows
- Wireframing
- Prototyping
- Usability
- Accessibility
- Design systems
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Nice to Have
- SaaS, consumer app, or enterprise product experience
- Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
- Experience with analytics, usability testing, or A/B testing
- Experience building or scaling design systems
