Podiatrist — Perth's Northern Coastal Corridor Private practice | Full-time or part-time | Established caseload from day one
An established, well-regarded private clinic in Perth's northern coastal corridor is looking for a Podiatrist to join its growing team. The practice has spent years building genuine relationships with local GPs, allied health providers, and the community — which means the referral pipeline is stable, the patient base is loyal, and you're not spending your first six months chasing bookings.
Clinicians here are given clinical autonomy, backed by strong administrative support, and trusted to manage their own schedules and patient care. The management style is grown-up: supportive when you need it, out of the way when you don't.
The caseload
Busy from day one, with genuine variety:
- General podiatry — nail and callus management, footwear and orthotic advice
- Diabetic foot management and high-risk foot assessment
- Musculoskeletal and biomechanical assessments
- Minor nail surgery and in-clinic procedures
- Orthotic prescription, fitting, and review
- Preventive-health and long-term patient management
Modern, fully equipped treatment rooms. Current clinical software. A reception and admin team that actually handles bookings and billing so you can focus on clinical work.
What's on offer
- Competitive remuneration package with incentive options — WA private-practice rates sit above the national average, and this role reflects that
- A busy, established caseload from your first week
- Long-standing referral networks — GPs, allied health, sports and community clinics
- Supportive management, collaborative team, and genuine clinical autonomy
- Encouraged and funded professional development
- Relocation support available for interstate or overseas candidates
- Long-term career pathway within a stable private practice
Who we're looking for
- AHPRA-registered Podiatrist, or eligible for registration
- Confident communicator with genuine patient rapport
- Professional, reliable, and clinically curious
- Someone looking to stay — this practice invests in clinicians who plan to build a career, not pass through
New graduates with the right attitude and communication skills are welcome to have a conversation; structured mentoring is available.
About the area — and why Perth genuinely works
Perth's northern coastal corridor is one of Australia's quietly underrated places to build a career and a life. A few things worth knowing:
- The lifestyle is real — Indian Ocean beaches at the end of the street, boat ramps and marinas within minutes, and the kind of weather that makes an outdoor life the default rather than the exception
- The commute isn't a thing — 10–20 minutes to work is normal; the Mitchell Freeway and the northern train line make the CBD accessible without needing to live in it
- The infrastructure is grown-up — major shopping precincts (Whitfords, Lakeside Joondalup), Joondalup Health Campus, Edith Cowan University, and some of WA's best-regarded public and private schools
- The financial equation stacks up — WA salaries carry a genuine premium over the eastern states, and the northern corridor still offers housing that would be unthinkable in equivalent Sydney or Melbourne postcodes
- The isolation is a feature, not a bug — Perth is its own market with its own referral networks and its own professional community. For clinicians who've had enough of the east coast churn, that's exactly the point
