Pie Production Associate

Reports to: Cake Room Manager and Central Bakery Manager

Job Profile: Clerk 2, Production-Central Bakery

Business Title: Bakery Production-Central Bakery

Position Summary:

Must be able to operate all machinery. Must be able to learn mixing of pies and cake crème.  Follow safe, sanitary food handling policy to prevent contamination and food borne illnesses.

Starting Wage:

$17.00

Schedule:

Start time: 6am Monday, Wednesday-Saturday (Tuesday and Sunday Off)

Schedule may change due to production and/or holidays

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

Experience:

No experience required.

Responsibilities:

· Works under close supervision

· Repetitive work that is clearly defined, manual jobs

· Impacts own work

Qualifications:

Basic math and reading skills, ability to follow directions and work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Flexible work schedule, weekends and holidays are required.

Physical Requirements:

Responsible for calculating production for the day, pull pie shells for the days production. Be able to use a digital and balance scale.  Ability to lift 30+lbs. is able to work independently and with others. Requires constant bending, stretching, and good eye/hand coordination.  Quality control

Other Duties:

Clean work areas, wash equipment and take out trash. Assist with cake setup and packaging. Varies according to production needs, occasionally may be required to work in other production areas. 

Environmental Conditions:

Exposed to constant indoor temperatures of 70 degrees or higher, freezer temperatures of 32 degrees or lower. Noise: loud machines. Chemicals: cleaning solutions.
