Rankin Physical Therapy, a H2 Health company, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient team in Inwood, West Virginia. At Rankin Physical Therapy, you'll work with a diverse outpatient population and play an essential role in delivering individualized, evidence-based care. Our clinicians help patients recover from orthopedic injuries, surgical procedures, musculoskeletal conditions, balance impairments, and mobility limitations. Your Role:
- Provide skilled physical therapy treatment under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
- Treat orthopedic, post-operative, musculoskeletal, balance, vestibular, and mobility-related conditions.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies.
- Accurately document patient progress and communicate treatment updates with the clinical team.
- Utilize Scribe AI-powered documentation technology to streamline documentation and maximize patient care time.
- Utilize the Raintree EMR platform for documentation, scheduling, and patient management.
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists and support staff to support strong patient outcomes.
- Work within a manageable caseload environment, typically targeting approximately 10-12 patient visits per day for full-time outpatient clinicians.
- Contribute to a positive clinic culture focused on patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
Requirements
- Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current West Virginia Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for licensure.
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain as required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
