JASARA PMC is seeking a dedicated and experienced People's Services Senior Specialist to enhance our human resources function and provide superior support to our workforce. As a senior specialist, you will play a vital role in managing HR operations, supporting employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including employee onboarding, benefits administration, and performance management processes.
- Collaborate with departmental leaders to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR-related inquiries, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Implement and support employee engagement initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance staff knowledge on HR policies, compliance, and professional development opportunities.
- Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and recommend improvements to enhance service delivery and employee satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, conducting audits and maintaining accurate records.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Support diversity and inclusion initiatives to promote a respectful and inclusive workplace environment.
- Actively participate in various HR projects and initiatives as assigned by the Head of People Services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced certifications or degrees are a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR operations or a related field, preferably within a consulting or project management environment.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, labor laws, and regulations.
- Proven experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with HR metrics to inform decision-making.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficient in HR management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and build strong working relationships.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications
· HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred but not required.
