What you’ll be doing
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes, brand standards, and guest preferences.
- Provide exceptional guest service by engaging with guests, making recommendations, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintain strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, spirits, and beverage menus.
- Operate efficiently during high-volume restaurant, lounge, banquet, and event service periods.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards across bar and service areas.
- Accurately process orders, payments, tabs, and transactions using POS systems.
- Assist with bar setup, inventory, garnishes, stock replenishment, and opening/closing duties.
- Follow food safety guidelines, responsible alcohol service standards, and hotel operational procedures.
- Partner closely with Servers, Culinary teams, and Food & Beverage leadership to support smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Support upselling initiatives, promotions, and beverage programs that drive guest engagement and revenue.
- Any other duties as assigned.
What great looks like
- Previous bartending, restaurant, hotel, lounge, nightlife, or hospitality experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Experience using POS systems and handling cash transactions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and presentation standards.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, holidays, and event support as needed.
- TIPS Certification, Food Handler Certification, or alcohol service certification preferred where required.
- A passion for hospitality, teamwork, guest experience, and creating memorable food & beverage moments.
