Overview:

Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA is hiring a Full-time, Rotating-Shift Painter.

Position Status: Full-time, Rotating Shift with flexibility to work Day Shift, and work after hours, at night, and on the weekends.

Position Location: Sentara Leigh Hospital

The Painter is responsible for all phases of commercial painting and finish work for walls, equipment, buildings, and other structural surfaces.

Requires knowledge, skills and abilities in the interior design, painting, power washing, wallpaper installation and removal. Some facilities will cross train the Painter to assist with furniture moves, cleaning of vents, and other Environment Service needs.

Education

• High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)

Certification

• Valid and Current Driver’s License - Certification - Other/National (Required)

Experience

• 2 years Related experience (Required)

• Commercial Painting experience (Preferred)

Sentara Leigh Hospital, located in Norfolk, VA, is a 274-bed acute care facility that opened in 1903 and relocated to its present site in 1977.
