DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Operational Pricing & Contracting Specialist  for the Swiss DePuy Synthes team located in Zuchwill, Switzerland.

Experienced Analyst, Contract Administration and Management 

Established and productive individual contributor, who works under moderate supervision. Executes contract administration processes utilizing contract management systems.. 

Main resposabilities:

• Gain a full understanding of our pricing logic and hierarchy and the various business models we have. Immerse in the end-to-end process from contract negotiations through to implementation, to identify areas for improvement
• Thorough review of latest standard contracts and support the creation of new ones, in collaboration with the legal department, for any new potential business models not yet covered
• Proactively review contracts related to customer pricing conditions to ensure completeness and consistency, as well as easy implementation of negotiated conditions.
• Formalize a process for the future, including Roles & Responsibilities, steps to be followed, predefined controls …
• Manage contract status, reminders and archiving both physically and digitally
• Power User and point of contact for contracting repository software
• Explore and roll-out new digital possibilities to support tracking of the different stages of the signature process of these contracts to secure timely sign off
• Support operational pricing in the end-to-end condition change process including maintenance, customer lists and SOX-relevant documentation
• Assist the quotations team with the calculation and creation of one-time offers
• Close cooperation with internal stakeholders from different teams (Strategic Pricing, Strategic Account Management, Finance, Customer Services, Supply Chain ...)
• Further development and implementation of new processes and controls around operational execution excellence.
• Introduction of new tools to minimise manual work in cooperation with EMEA teams, IT and internal stakeholders.
• Act as a back-up for the process of maintaining & updating customer / product master data

Qualifications & Experience:

• Comfortable level of written and spoken German and English. French would be an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a matrix organization and participate effectively both independently and as part of multiple teams
• Capacity to work under strict timelines, combined with flexibility when emergency situations require this
• Attitude towards achieving goals within a diverse workforce that is oriented around customer engagement

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes.
