Occupational Therapist – NDIS, Paediatric & Adult Caseload | Sydney, NSW
A multidisciplinary NDIS provider, not a single-service clinic. OT sits alongside psychology, speech therapy, positive behaviour support and support coordination under one organisation, so you're never working in isolation. If you'd rather have a genuinely mixed caseload and real team support than a narrow, siloed role, this one's worth a read.
About the practice
- Registered NDIS provider delivering a broad range of allied health and support services under one roof
- Genuine mix of clinic based, in-home and telehealth service delivery
- A close, small therapy team within a larger multidisciplinary organisation
- Person-centred, NDIS-focused approach to care
The role
- Roughly a 40/60 split between paediatric and adult NDIS participants
- 6 billable hours per day
- Joining 1 other Occupational Therapist and 2 Allied Health Assistants, within a broader head office team of around 26 across all roles
- Delivery across home, community and clinic based settings depending on client need
- Ideally Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with flexibility available, part time arrangements will also be considered
What you'll be doing
- Assessing and delivering OT interventions across a genuinely mixed paediatric and adult NDIS caseload
- Travelling to client homes as needed, alongside clinic based and telehealth sessions
- Working closely with Allied Health Assistants and the wider multidisciplinary team for joined up client care
- Keeping clear, timely clinical documentation in line with NDIS requirements
- Contributing to a small, collaborative therapy team
What we're looking for
- Registered Occupational Therapist with AHPRA registration
- Comfortable working across both paediatric and adult caseloads
- Full driver's licence and access to your own vehicle, travel is a genuine part of this role
- Genuine interest in NDIS and person-centred, community based care
- Strong communicator, confident working independently in home and community settings as well as within a team
What's on offer
- Salary in the range of $95,000 to $105,000 plus superannuation, depending on experience
- Per km reimbursement (99c per km) for client home visits, in lieu of a company vehicle
- Ideally Monday to Friday with flexibility, and part time considered
- Small, supportive therapy team within a larger, established multidisciplinary organisation
- Genuinely varied caseload and settings, not the same day on repeat
Location
Head office based in the Belfield area of Sydney, with travel to client homes required depending on need. Belfield is a quiet, established residential pocket close to Canterbury and the Cooks River, with good transport links and an established local community services scene nearby.
