Weir Minerals Kalgoorlie is offering a rare opportunity to work hands‑on with the WARMAN® MCR‑M 760 HF+ mill pump — the largest mill circuit pump on the planet. This is the pinnacle of rotating equipment, and you’ll be one of the few fitters in the world trusted to maintain it.

What you'll do

• Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.

• Tackling breakdowns across various sites, diagnosing issues fast and getting equipment operational

• You’ll take on high‑precision, high‑impact work across a wide range of rotating equipment, including pumps, valves and cyclones.

• Stripping, rebuilding and overhauling complex components

• Assessing wear, diagnosing faults and machining castings to tight tolerances

• Working from detailed engineering drawings

• Supporting shutdowns across the Goldfields region

• Collaborating with Leading Hands and management to deliver top‑tier workmanship

• And of course — maintaining and rebuilding the WARMAN® MCR‑M 760 HF+, a piece of equipment that sets the global benchmark for mill circuit performance.

What you'll bring

• Tertiary trades qualification in Mechanical Fitting

• Proven fitting experience delivering high-quality work within tight tolerances. 

• Relevant mine site experience required

• Current Drivers License - (MR preferred) is required

• Must be able to provide a current police check

• High-risk Forklift License preferred

• Crane operators’ ticket and Doggers ticket - desirable
