CSA – Senior Math Teacher (Cambridge)

Purpose of Role

The Senior Mathematics Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality Mathematics instruction in accordance with the Cambridge curriculum. The role involves planning engaging lessons, assessing student progress, mentoring students, and contributing to curriculum development while maintaining high academic standards.

CSA – Senior Math Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons in accordance with the Cambridge curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, worksheets, and teaching resources.
• Teach Mathematics using effective instructional strategies that promote conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills.
• Assess, monitor, and evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments.
• Prepare students for Cambridge Checkpoint, IGCSE, AS & A Level examinations.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, academic performance, and assessment results.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that supports student learning.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching methodologies to enhance classroom engagement.
• Provide academic guidance, remedial support, and enrichment opportunities to help students achieve their full potential.
