About the role

Manager in Training (Rooms Division)

The Manager in Training (MIT) Programme at Four Seasons is an 18-month accelerated development journey designed for high-potential individuals with the ambition to grow into future hospitality leaders. This immersive programme equips participants with the skills, exposure, and confidence needed to build a successful long-term career in luxury hospitality.

Beyond hands-on operational training, MITs gain meaningful leadership exposure through cross-functional learning, real business projects, and involvement in decision-making processes. Participants develop a deep understanding of service excellence, commercial awareness, and people leadership — all within a world-class luxury environment.

Each MIT is supported by a dedicated mentor and buddy, providing guidance, career coaching, and day-to-day support. Structured feedback and performance conversations throughout the programme ensure continuous growth and clear development milestones.

This programme is ideal for driven individuals who are curious, adaptable, and passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences. By the end of the journey, successful MITs are well-positioned to step into supervisory or entry-level management roles within Four Seasons, equipped with both operational expertise and leadership capability.

What you will do

• Gain exposure to key functions such as Front Office, Guest Experience, Concierge, Housekeeping, and other Rooms operations to build a holistic understanding of the guest journey.

• Develop strong operational expertise by working alongside experienced teams and mastering key line positions before progressing into an acting Assistant Manager role to practice management skills.

• To solidify your learning, you will take charge of your management experience and project work with the tools (e.g. Training Syllabus, Manuals and Experience Maps etc.) provided.

• Use structured training resources, experience maps, feedback, and regular development conversations to identify your strengths and areas for growth.

• Take ownership of projects and improvement initiatives that enhance the guest experience, operational efficiency, or team engagement.

• Develop an understanding of Rooms revenue, occupancy, forecasting, productivity, guest preferences, and the commercial decisions that drive success.

• Work alongside experienced leaders and gain practical insights into leadership, decision-making, and creating an exceptional employee and guest experience.

• Collaborate with colleagues and leaders across the hotel, creating meaningful relationships and gaining a broader perspective of luxury hospitality.

• Bring fresh perspectives and identify opportunities to elevate the way we work and create memorable guest experiences.

What you bring

• Preferably with a degree in Hospitality Management or its equivalent

• Potential to lead and inspire others, take ownership, and are willing to step forward when opportunities arise

• Curiosity and interest in the luxury market while continuously seeking to learn

• Go-getter who creates their own opportunities, embraces change, new environments, and different perspectives with an open mind

• Previous experience within Four Seasons  (or a top luxury group) will be an advantage, but we are equally interested in individuals who demonstrate exceptional potential

• Kindly note that due to work visa restrictions, position is open to Singaporeans only

Schedule & Hours:

This role requires flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to work rotating shifts, including overnight shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
