  • Assign PMs, routine tasks, and small projects as needed to support workflow efficiency.
  • Support mechanics through coaching, troubleshooting guidance, and identification of training needs.
  • Lead pre‑shift and post‑shift maintenance meetings and communicate work priorities and equipment status.
  • Coordinate work with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

  • Follow and enforce OSHA, EHS, ISO, and company safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout, PPE use, chemical handling, and hazard‑communication requirements.
  • Ensure all maintenance tasks adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.
  • Promote safe work practices and ensure hazards are identified and addressed promptly.
  • Use only cleanroom‑approved tools and materials and follow ISO Class 5–7 contamination‑control requirements during maintenance work.
  • Ensure maintenance activities do not compromise cleanroom integrity or critical utilities supporting production.
  • Maintain, update, and close CMMS (Fiix) records for PM schedules, work orders, corrective actions, and parts usage.
  • Oversee central stores during assigned shifts, including parts sign‑out and initiating reorder requests.
  • Prepare and submit daily downtime cause‑code reports for operational tracking and analysis.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and provide effective troubleshooting support.
  • Perform special assignments or tasks as needed to support production and maintenance goals.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards and ensure tools and equipment are stored and used properly.

EDUCATION, EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate degree in a related technical field or a minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Hands‑on experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated/PLC‑based systems.
  • Preferred: Additional coursework or a diploma in electronics, automation, or a related discipline. Experience with ultrasonic equipment or textile manufacturing is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, wiring schematics, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency with CMMS software (such as Fiix) for work order management, preventive maintenance scheduling, and maintenance history documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices.
  • Working knowledge of PLC and HMI systems, industrial instrumentation, and control electronics (preferred).
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including fractions, decimals, rates, ratios, and percentages.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; strong self‑motivation and initiative.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to interpret written instructions and write clear maintenance notes and reports.
  • Sound reasoning and problem‑solving abilities, especially in standardized or routine troubleshooting scenarios.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to support mechanics, provide guidance, and help address minor conflicts when needed.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Frequent standing and walking on hard surfaces for extended periods.
  • Regular bending, stooping, kneeling, crawling, climbing ladders, and reaching into, under, or around equipment.
  • Ability to lift, move, push, or pull tools, parts, and equipment up to 50 lbs using proper ergonomic and OSHA‑approved lifting practices.
  • Frequent use of hand tools, power tools, calibration devices, electronic diagnostic equipment, and ladders.
  • Work performed around energized systems with strict adherence to Lockout/Tagout procedures.
  • Work performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, vibration, chemicals, heat, and varying temperatures.
  • Regular work around moving machinery and occasional exposure to forklift traffic.
  • May work in mechanical rooms, boiler rooms, rooftops, cleanrooms, utility corridors, and production areas.
  • Work may occur in contamination‑controlled areas following ISO Class 5–7 gowning and cleanliness standards.
  • Use of cleanroom‑approved tools, materials, and contamination‑prevention practices.
  • Required use of PPE, including safety shoes, gloves, eye protection, hearing protection, and cleanroom garments when applicable.
  • Must follow OSHA, EHS, and company safety regulations at all times.
  • Work may involve exposure to chemicals requiring proper handling and disposal procedures.
