About the team

You will be part of our Customer Service development Issuing team. You will create solutions and help the team in deploying them. We work on fulfilling requirements of reputed banks and financial institutions spread across the world — ensuring to provide a quality experience to them and their end users.  

What you will be doing:

Perform story authorship. Craft stories from the user perspective, understand the need for story slicing and break requirements down small enough to be achievable within a two week sprint.

Participating in project intake meetings for the team.

Functional Testing

Analyzing project pipeline and planning for deliveries based on priority and capacity.

While working on requirements, work on understanding the clients’ needs and what may serve them best.

Bridge the gap between technical team and client by effective communication and getting the appropriate information.

Perform the Business analysis for the requirements including feasibility assessment and solutioning.

Document the solutions to align understanding and commitments with clients and technical team.  

Facilitate and participate in the agile ceremonies for the scrum team.

Performing mainframe Cobol code/files/database analysis as needed.  

What you bring:

10+ years of work experience as Business Analyst.

Strong experience of working with the US teams.

Proficient in English, good  oral and written communication skills

Ability to get into Cobol code and perform analysis. Also track fields from screen through codes and then files and databses.

Ability to get into mainframes ISPF and browse files (flat files and VSAM) and databases like IMS and DB2.

Ability to create solutions for the mainframe development team.  

Good understanding of SDLC and Agile.

Come up with innovative solutions

Ability to deep dive into requirements and map them to technical details

Ability to articulate Technical solutions in language understood by business users.

Hands-on experience for basic technical analysis on any technology.

Willingness to learn and work on new technology.

Ability to work with precision on multiple projects under rigorous deadlines, and extended daily schedules when necessary, while working both independently and as part of a team.

Positive attitude under pressure, outgoing, approachable and proactive and the ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources

Self-Driven and extremely autonomous

Creates various training materials and trains various teams

Flexible in work timings. May need to work in odd hours or weekends occassionally eg. early / late, weekends etc.

Understanding of the architecture and application design.
