Lead Veterinary Surgeon – Medivet Frimley Green

Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon ready to take the next step in your career? Medivet Frimley Green is looking for an inspiring Lead Veterinary Surgeon to guide our dedicated team, drive clinical excellence, and deliver exceptional patient and client care.

This is an exciting opportunity to combine hands-on clinical work with leadership responsibilities in a well-established practice. You'll have the autonomy to influence the direction of the practice, mentor and support your colleagues, and help foster a positive, collaborative culture where both people and patients thrive. Supported by access to Medivet’s hub & spoke model. You’ll also have close links to our 24‑hour centre in Wokingham, as well as nearby practices specialising in a range of different expertise.

As Lead Vet, you will be responsible for the clinical leadership of the practice, ensuring exceptional care for clients, patients, and colleagues. You will maintain the highest standards of clinical and regulatory compliance, support and mentor the veterinary team, work closely with the Operations Support Manager and Network Partner to drive the clinic’s commercial performance and help shape the practice’s clinical direction and culture.

As part of Medivet’s hub‑and‑spoke model, you’ll also spend one weekend in six in our 24‑hour hospital in Wokingham. You will also participate in the on-call rota.

This provides a valuable opportunity to experience a fast‑paced clinical environment, work alongside experienced hospital teams, and get hands‑on with more complex cases. It’s a great way to broaden your clinical skills, build confidence with advanced procedures, and continue your veterinary career.

If you're ready to lead with confidence, make a meaningful impact, and be part of a team that shares your commitment to exceptional veterinary care, we'd love to hear from you.
