We are looking for an experiencedย Key Account Managerย to manage and grow strategic banking relationships across Bengaluru and Mumbai. The role is ideal for a commercially driven professional with strong expertise inย key account relationship building, account management, and the banking domain.
You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with key banking clients, understanding their business needs, driving account growth, and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will combine strong relationship-management capabilities with business acumen and a deep understanding of banking clients and their requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage relationships with key accounts within theย banking and financial services sector.
- Develop strong, long-term relationships with senior stakeholders and key decision-makers at client organisations.
- Understand client business objectives, operational challenges, and evolving requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned strategic accounts and ensure effective communication.
- Develop and execute account management plans to driveย retention, engagement, and revenue growth.
- Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding existing client relationships.
- Conduct regular account reviews and business discussions with key banking clients.
- Coordinate with internal sales, product, operations, technology, and support teams to address client requirements.
- Ensure timely resolution of client concerns, escalations, and service-related issues.
- Track account performance, revenue, engagement, pipeline, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Maintain accurate account plans, client information, meeting records, and sales forecasts.
- Monitor banking industry trends, competitor activity, and changes in client requirements to identify new opportunities.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, account reviews, and business updates for clients and internal leadership.
- Support contract renewals, commercial negotiations, and strategic account planning.
- Build a strong understanding of client organisations, their business priorities, and stakeholder structures.
- Proactively identify potential risks to client relationships and develop appropriate retention strategies.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop strategies for strengthening strategic banking partnerships.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 4+ years of experienceย in key account management, relationship management, enterprise sales, business development, or a similar client-facing role.
- Strong experience managingย strategic accounts and building long-term client relationships.
- Prior experience working withย banks or within the banking/financial services domainย is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
