As a Key Account Manager, you will manage and develop the assigned customer portfolio within the Tier segment, driving profitable business growth through the generation of new commercial opportunities, strengthening strategic relationships with key customers, identifying new projects, and ensuring successful program launches while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, profitability, and service excellence.
You will report to the Regional Commercial Manager North.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, prospect, and develop new accounts to expand market share.
You will develop commercial strategies focused on generating new business opportunities.
Coordinate technical and commercial activities to ensure successful product and solution launches.
Identify growth opportunities within existing customer processes, applications, and programs.
You will manage growth projects aimed at increasing sales and profitability.
Build strategic relationships with partners in purchasing, engineering, quality, manufacturing, and management.
Increase commercial presence and influence within assigned accounts.
Represent us in customer meetings, plant visits, and industry events.
You will lead negotiations involving claims, chargebacks, penalties, and commercial disputes.
Improve achievement of sales, profitability, and service goals for assigned accounts.
Experience using a CRM software system.
Understand the prospect's needs and market solutions which align to those needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in technical sales or key account management within the automotive, coatings, chemicals, or manufacturing industries.
Experience working with Tiers customers.
Knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes and project management.
Experience with PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning).
Fluent English.
