Overview:

• IR Intern Progam lead-
• Performs complex invasive interventional procedures such as diagnostic, therapeutic, and/or interventional, in addition to neurological procedures under the direction of a qualified physician while adhering to interventional and procedural policies and protocols. Provides patient and family education; operates equipment safety; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; maintains adequate supply or inventory for performing examinations; participates in departmental performance improvement activities. Assists the Supervisor/Manager/Director with daily operations, coordination of work, quality and service, achievement of operating center goals and objectives, customer satisfaction, and in meeting regulatory requirements. Provides technical expertise and is a resource for other team members through participation in quality control and improvement/evaluation activities, staff development activities and daily support to team members.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $40.10 - $60.59 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, located in Norfolk, VA, is a 525-bed tertiary care facility that is home to the only Level I Adult Trauma Center and burn trauma unit in Hampton Roads, and also serves as the primary teaching hospital for Eastern Virginia Medical School.
