Vinmar International is seeking an experienced International Tax Manager to lead and manage the company's global tax compliance and planning activities. In this role, you will oversee international tax strategies, ensure compliance with tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions, and provide expert advice on cross-border transactions and tax risk management. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of international tax laws and a proven track record in managing complex tax issues in a multinational environment. This position reports directly to the Director of Tax.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement international tax strategies that align with the company’s business objectives and compliance requirements.
• Manage all aspects of international tax compliance, including transfer pricing documentation, tax filings, and reporting obligations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Provide expert guidance on cross-border transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and intercompany agreements.
• Coordinate and manage relationships with external tax advisors, auditors, and tax authorities worldwide.
• Identify and mitigate international tax risks and ensure adherence to relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Lead tax audits related to international transactions and resolve tax controversies effectively.
• Collaborate with global finance, legal, and business teams to integrate tax considerations into strategic and operational decision-making.
• Monitor changes in international tax legislation and proactively assess the impact on the company’s operations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize tax processes and reporting systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degree or CPA/CA preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in international taxation, ideally within a multinational corporation or large public accounting firm.
• In-depth knowledge of international tax laws, transfer pricing, and tax treaties.
• Proven experience managing complex international tax compliance and planning projects.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and external advisors.
• Experience with ERP and tax software systems.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
• Strong ethical standards and commitment to compliance.
