Your tasks and responsibilities
You will manually migrate existing unit tests from VectorCAST to the modern framework Unity/CMock.
You will be responsible for executing and validating the migrated unit tests in our development environment.
You will analyze the migrated tests and implement targeted improvements to increase test quality and efficiency.
You will explore the use of AI agents to automatically create and implement new unit tests with Unity/CMock.
At the end of your internship, you will create a detailed internship report summarizing your results and best practices.
Desired skills and qualifications
Enrolled fulltime student (d/f/m) in a degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Good knowledge of the C programming language (ideally in an embedded environment).
Prior experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Unity, Cmock, Google Test) is advantageous.
Interest in modern development tools and the use of artificial intelligence in software engineering.
A structured work style and the ability to quickly grasp complex relationships.
Fluent in German or English.
