Role Overview  

We are dedicated to providing excellent food delivery product features to users. Through promotion systems, coupon systems, message delivery systems, review systems, user experience systems and other product capabilities, the team aims to promote user conversion, improve user retention and new user acquisition. Our goal is to become No.1 in the Korean food delivery industry, providing quality service to users.

What You Will Do  

• Participate in daily iterative development, ability to evaluate requirement rationality with precise understanding of requirement background and purpose, and discuss reasonable solutions with product team.
• Optimize existing systems and engineering processes, design good architecture based on domain models with high scalability, high availability, and high security; not confined to existing architectural designs, able to propose creative designs and specific implementation plans based on current limitations, promoting improvements in system availability and scalability.
• Identify problems and gaps in systems with deep dive, come out the resolution to completely address problems
• Engage with senior engineering group and contribute to solve large-scale tech problems across multi-engineering teams and set best engineering practices
• Communicate clearly and concisely with the team members, peers, and leadership team

Basic Qualifications  

• Bachelor's degree or above in computer-related majors, with good foundation in data structures and algorithms, system design capabilities, and proficiency in Java language and related technology stack.
• Familiar with common components such as Redis, Kafka, Zookeeper, MySQL, ElasticSearch; understanding of component usage and principles with practical project experience; familiar with common monitoring tools such as Grafana or Prometheus.
• Understanding of or familiarity with distributed architecture, microservices, etc.
• Strong abstraction ability and problem-solving skills with good execution capability.
• Good learning ability, strong teamwork skills, conscientious work attitude, proactive, with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Good English communication skills, able to express opinions clearly and participate in various work discussions fluently.
• Priority consideration given to candidates with promotion system or coupon-related work experience.
• Strong delivering software products competency in an environment that rapidly changing requirements with appropriate trade-off.

Preferred Qualifications  

• 5+ years of experience in E-Commerce domains with hands-on architectural experience in delivering innovative products in the relevant space
• Experience working in distributed systems with high traffic and high data volume
• Experience working with geographically dispersed global teams
